We all love having a friend with good taste in books, or movies, or music. Great recommendations combined with a free lending library. Well the world wide web has given us many of those benefits in the form of book, music and movie swap sites. Each of these sites offers a forum for exchanging your old movies, books or cds for someone else’s old movies, books and cds. They all work essentially the same way. You list items you want to give and create lists of items you want to get. You get a point for each item you send out and it costs a point for each item you recieve. Sometimes you get bonus credits for community-friendly behavior. Remember that these are free and used so some will be quite worn but by simply observing rules of polite society (no grabbing, no greediness and be grateful) it should work out well for you.
